John found me a contract twice, exactly when I needed it. His responses were quickly returned to me on the questions I had, and the contracts were complete and returned co-signed in a timely fashion. In general terms, I am satisfied with his work and his professionalism.
John is a very good business developer. He is reliable and achieves his objectives. He understands partners’ business requirements very well and provides the best solution. He is always in touch, by phone, email or meetings, to keep abreast of what’s going on and to make sure everyone has everything they need. John monitors his business portfolio very well.
John has been helpful in getting me a new big client to which I did not have access before, resulting in a very high-profile project. He also took care of all the negotiations, trying to accommodate all my requests. He has managed everything very professionally.
John is very skilled at getting parties together. If it weren’t for him, the job opportunity would have passed me by. He got the client to grant me an interview over the telephone and, from there on, everything went smoothly. Since the job started, John has been in contact frequently. Perhaps just to inquire about new opportunities but, in my opinion, also to show that he wants to stay in contact and to see if the job is still fitting or if something needs to be changed. He makes a good effort in trying to find the right persons for a job; the ones that are actually proficient at the skills required to do the job. Too often I find that intermediaries just glance over the required skills and end up presenting candidates that remotely seem to ‘maybe have heard’ of these skills. I certainly hope to do business with John again in the future.
True professional who always delivers. John advised and supported me on several occasions, helping to find the right match. Reliable and there if you have any questions. Looking forward to work with him again!
John helped me to secure my first freelance contract. Freelance was new for me and John helped not only with contract but also to find a good reliable payroll company and covered all the hurdles for me. Always promptly respond to my requests. He is also a very nice and knowledgeable person. Highly recommended. One of the best recruiters I have ever worked with. All the best John. Hope to work with you again soon.
Two months before a planned long holiday, I became available at very short notice. John took on the challenge of finding me a contract role for the short time period until my holiday and managed to secure a contract in two days! I’m very satisfied with his clear communication and professionalism during the two contracts I’ve worked through him.
From the first conversation, I liked the direct and enjoyable style of John’s questions. It has been a real pleasure to work with him and I was impressed by his network, where I found especially capable and knowledgeable developers with whom I really liked to work. Because of this network and information gathering, John arranged a very speedy intake when negotiations with a competitor were too slow. I was impressed how quickly and discretely he could adjust the commitments and expectations in the negotiations with the client, which turned out to my advantage. Once I was on the job, he regularly kept contact. Because he knows the market, I would absolutely recommend working with him.
John is an active, high-energy recruiter with a focus on getting things done. He delivered a great contracting role in this difficult market. Well-informed and precise.
As a recruiter John will not rest until the job is done. He really listens to your needs and fully understands the challenge. He helped me finding a top job quickly, using his connections.
After our very first talk John got me interested in other opportunities. He helped me find my current position and accelerate my career. Would recommend him, as he is a professional with really good social skills.
I have been working with John for several years now. John will always take the time to really understand the type of person needed not only for the role but also for the firm. He is always personable and professional to do business with and I particularly like how he treats his candidates with the same respect as employers. Working with John is a pleasure. Not only did he find me the best possible .NET developer opportunity, but he also made sure that I could simply focus on doing my job while not having to worry about things like contracts and payments. If there were any bumps in the road John actually took care of them before I even noticed! All-in-all it was a great experience for me that makes me want to work with John more often.
John has hooked me up with a great project in Amsterdam. He is very alert to changing circumstances and always tries to provide optimal support when needed.
John found a good contractor position for me. He prepared me with everything I needed to know for the intake and kept in close contact before and after signing the contract. All the time he and his colleagues have been very clear in their communications.
John is a professional and fun guy to work with. His tips before and during the intake and his contacts with Rabobank really helped me get the job.
John worked as my agent getting me my most recent role. Throughout my interactions with him, he has always been honest, friendly, helpful and was fantastic in helping me get through all of the different challenges which exist when getting a role in another country. Any candidate can be confident of a positive agency experience when working with John.
I can’t recommend John highly enough – he is by far and away the best recruiter I have come across. He took care to find out exactly what I was looking for and was careful to make sure he only put me forward for roles which closely matched what I had told him. His contacts within the industry are outstanding and it is a pleasure dealing with him. I will definitely be telling all my friends and colleagues to call John for contracting in the future.
John is an agile, energetic and active recruiter. He is the type of person that doesn’t give up quickly. He has a friendly, professional and respectful attitude. I will certainly use his services again.
I have worked with John on three projects now and I must say it was a perfect match every time. John doesn’t just find a match based on skills; he also takes the work environment into account. As a result, I found myself like a fish in the water on each project and was able to make a good contribution to both the project and the client. Thanks John.
John is a results-driven recruitment consultant. He is agile and straightforward. He found a very good opportunity for me in less than a week. I would definitely work with John again.
I worked with John on my first position as a contractor and he gave me good advice before my move and was always very close during the contract period. After the contract ended, whenever he gets new opportunities on the specific area I am working on, he always sends them to me. He is not the kind of person to send all the new opportunities he gets even if they are not related to your specific interests.
I know John as a very helpful professional. Always in for a nice chat and a good listener. Say crazy things and John always places it in the right context. I know him has somebody who stays calm and forms opinions based on facts. Ask him anything, and he will do whatever he can to help. From my teammates, I hear nothing but positive things. John can be a friend and professional at the same time. John is somebody who intensively commits to his work. Thankful for his services, I hope he succeeds in anything he does, and gives everybody a chance to grow!
John is the best recruiter I had experience with!
John was helpful, supportive, polite, and very friendly during the whole recruiting process. Always knows the status of the process. John always stays in touch and controls the whole process. There wasn’t a single day I needed to chase John for an update. It was an absolute pleasure working with John!
I currently work as a senior e-commerce developer and this is, for the most part, thanks to John. In a nutshell, he simply delivers on his promises but with that extra personal touch, usually absent from the competition. He knows his subject and he is flexible enough to adapt to your personal situation, ultimately finding a way that satisfies both parties! This is the first time I have done business with John but I will definitely consider him for any future relevant assignments.
John is fantastic to work with, he is an excellent recruitment consultant, result driven and delivers on his promises. He provided an excellent contract position. I can highly recommend working with him.
John is a great and pleasant guy to work with. I worked with John during an assignment in Saxo Bank for their CRM team, and John was a great help both during the initial process, and during my assignment. Would recommend John anytime.
John helped me with my first contract job. I was initially worried coming from a different country but John made the overall process very smooth. He was always reachable over calls and emails for all kinds of queries. He is a very good knowledgeable person. I would highly recommend him.
John has been instrumental in securing me a contract at VWPFS. During this project, continuity was not a given, which required constant re-negotiating. John delivered a good service also in this respect.
John is a very professional recruiter who knows his market and understands the technologies used. This enables him to make a good quality match between client and freelancer. He really makes the whole process worry-free and takes care of any obstacles along the way. It’s nice to work with a recruiter who keeps in contact throughout the project, instead of only being interested to ‘seal the deal’.
I have twice been helped by John in finding new places to work, at Saxo Bank and Danske Bank, and the process has always been professional and efficient. His Danish client network seems on a par with local recruitment agencies and the placement in another country is never an operational issue or inconvenience. John is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the clients and industry. I only have positives to say about him.
Working via John has absolutely been a pleasure. John is always easy to reach, exceptionally approachable and friendly and willing to step in to help out. From an IT contractor’s point of view, working with him went as smoothly as you could hope for.
We want to position ourselves head and shoulders above typical recruitment agencies and become your trusted recruitment partner. Our aim is for our clients and candidates to rely on us and trust us to deliver.

Tech Talento was formed by John Alcoran, our Director and Lead Recruiter.
On completing his degree in Business Management & Psychology, John, like most recruiters, fell into recruitment! Starting out at Eurostaff back in 2011, he quickly established himself as one of the premier consultants in the business. Hitting many individual milestones, John also built a well-established team of contract recruiters.
With a specific focus on the Danish and Dutch markets, John helped to build Kodastaff from 2017. He left there four years later to launch his own recruitment company, Tech Talento.
John understands labour, tax, and compliance laws to make your recruitment journey a smooth one. He also maintains a detailed knowledge of the IT recruitment market, so he can advise clients and candidates appropriately. His passion for connecting the very best IT experts to the most ambitious organisations is simply unrivalled!
Outside of work, John is a keen runner and trains for half marathons in his spare time. He plays basketball for his local club and is an avid football fan and lifelong Liverpool FC supporter.
